Install
Install ArkViz
ArkViz is a Home Assistant integration, so you don’t need to run anything else. You add it from its GitHub repository, and it needs Home Assistant 2024.7 or later.

- Go to Settings, then Marketplace.
- Choose Add from link and enter the address above. The Marketplace asks you to connect GitHub the first time. That connection only reads public information.
- Open ArkViz, choose Install, and follow its setup. If Home Assistant asks you to restart, restart it.
Home Assistant 2026.10 or earlier
On these versions, you install ArkViz through HACS. If you don’t have HACS yet, download it first.
- In HACS, open the menu and choose Custom repositories.
- Enter the address above, choose the type Integration, and add it.
- Find ArkViz in HACS, download it, and restart Home Assistant.
- Go to Settings, then Devices & services, choose Add integration and pick ArkViz.
Opening ArkViz
ArkViz appears in Home Assistant’s sidebar for everyone who signs in. It also has its own page, which is useful for a wall panel or a full screen, at /arkviz-app/ on your Home Assistant’s address:
http://homeassistant.local:8123/arkviz-app/To remove it from the sidebar, go to Settings, then Devices & services, open ArkViz and choose Configure. Its own page will still work.
Updates
New versions appear with Home Assistant’s other updates, under Settings. After updating, restart Home Assistant.
Want to see it first? Try the demo. It uses a made-up home and runs in your browser. If any of these steps don’t work for you, I’d like to know.
